In 2014, something changed. Wendy's health declined and she questioned Lyme Disease, but her doctors had no answers. Wendy had had a lifetime of "normal" diagnosis, so she had adapted to researching on her own and finding alternative treatments. After 4 years of deteriorating health and losing her physical ability to photograph, an amazing woman named, Jill, had shared her story of Mold & Lyme.

Jill and Wendy connected at a Cystic Fibrosis Photo Party raising awareness and money for Cystic Fibrosis in Memory of April Hacker. With a new hope of healing, Wendy was reading every medical article about Lyme and CIRS (chronic inflammatory response syndrome) from mold toxicity she could find. After continued denial by conventional medicine, she found Functional Medicine with accurate testing to confirm MSIDS.

After discovering multiple hidden diseases like Lyme disease, mold toxicity (CIRS), mycoplasma pneumonia, aluminum poisoning, silver toxicity, and more for years, Wendy found Functional Medicine and a path to healing after finding the root cause of her illness. Available out of pocket, alternative testing traced her battle back over 10 years!

Sadly, like most Pennsylvania Residents, other members of her family had been infected with Lyme Disease and co infections. Her family spent their life savings trying to heal. Through her research and an amazing medical team, Wendy went from losing her mobility to continuing professional photography to a thriving precision health coach. She refused to give up and as the nurturer to so many. She had too many reasons to keep fighting for her health & wellness.

She was still missing something, as their health was still up and down so she turned to her research on family history and studied genetics. Putting herself through coaching and nutrition schooling with medical professionals, and studying her genetics, she advocated for the correct testing, diagnosis, and treatment specific to her and she finally began to heal.

After two years after closing her special event photography company due to her health and Pennsylvania COVID restrictions, Wendy rebranded her Professional Photography to showcase her Floral Fine Art Photography. These images are part of a personal art therapy project called, Scout. All of the Boutique images are made with love and meant to inspire.

In her determination to heal and serve others she continued her education to become a certified Holistic Health & Wellness Coach and Functional Nutrition Expert from Mindbodygreen. After years of research and further education, Wendy, is a Genetic Practitioner under Selfdecode with additional training in analyzing Stratgene reports from Seeking Health.
